SHAW University established partnership with the Patterson Family Foundation, established by the author and philanthropist James Patterson. This cooperation aims to strengthen the critical role of students and literacy dedicated to writing.
James Patterson is marked for a broad business body consisting of more than 200 published titles. It is equally recognized for charitable efforts to increase the country’s education opportunities. With this latest initiative, James Patterson will provide $ 75,000 to support Teacher Teaching Scholarships on SHAW University. Scholarships aim to reduce financial barriers for writers and teachers.
Each scholarship recipient will receive $ 7,500 to help academic work, and allows them to gain the skills needed to follow their mastery and inspire others.
“James Patterson’s partner with the Patterson Family Foundation to offer teaching teaching scholarships,” Diller of Shaw Paulette R. Dilard. “This initiative allows our students to follow the passions to write and teach our students to develop our mission to develop. We appreciate the investment in our students and successes of the Foundation. “
This partnership is followed by a similar initiative announced at the University of Virgin Islands last month. There is $ 75,000 for students interested in the Patterson Family Fund, writing and education, as well as $ 75,000.
Shaw University is looking for active partners to connect their mission to improve their mission to retire, academic programs and student success.
