Fame Salon Sportswrriter Rob Parker, North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University (NCAT) black sportswriters brings the Hall of Glory – Black Carolina campus. The opening class will honor the most respected black sportswriters in a special induction ceremony, supported by NCAT students (NABJ) National Union (NABJ) and Associated Press Sports Editors.
Inducteers, William C. Rhoden, ESPN-in and landscape, former New York Times sports corner and nabj fame Hall; Claire Smith, the first woman of writers, Hartford resort, New York Times and Philadelphia inquiry baseball fame hall; Mike Wilbon, a corner of the Washington post and ESPN for a breakdown for interruption.
“We have a very large black athletes and editors who have contributed to the great time of this work and are not recognized,” Parker said. “The best is the opportunity to meet these live legends in the Northern Carolina in A & T, and the chance to meet the perfection of journalism.”
Parker, a 2023 fame, in the spring of 2023, Yreensboro, NC HBCU, NC HBCU, NC HBCU (JOMC) teacher David David David David David David David Squires presented David David Squires.
“This fame hall will be recognized for a long time to exploding the sports media industry,” he said. “It will be a enriching experience for students involved.”
Along with respect to three indentists in HBCU, the ceremony is “original six” pioneer sports sciences and editors, Thom Greer, Sam Lacy, Wendell Smith, Larry Whiteside and Ralph Wiley and Ralph Wiley – Memorith.
“The original six industries had a sustainable impact and will be esteemed for their contributions,” Parker said.
The salon of fame will be placed in the Crosby Hall of Jomc.
“The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, A and Ta & T, A and Ta & T, welcoming this interesting initiative to recognize the outstanding contribution of black sportswriters and editors,” he said.
