Former Winston-Salem State star Daylin Lee is headed to Nashville after announcing his commitment to Tennessee.
Lee joins Tennessee with two years of eligibility, beating out offers from Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Alcorn State.
In his three seasons at WSSU, Lee completed 58% of his passes for 5,619 passing yards and 55 touchdowns to 18 catches.
He was named to the All-CIAA Second Team in 2023 after finishing second in the conference in passing.
In 2024, the Rams star helped lead the team to a 7-3 overall record and posted their first winning season since 2018.
Lee will join a Tennessee team now entering his second season under head coach Reggie Barlow.
After a historic 2024 season in which they won a share of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) title and qualified for the FCS playoffs, the Tigers failed to repeat that feat in 2025.
Tennessee finished the year with a 2-10 overall record and a winless 0-8 record in OVC play. It was TSU’s first winless finish in conference play since 2010.
