One of the great HBCU women’s basketball programs will look very different from the next season.
Besides head coach Larry Vickers, the Norfolk state going to Auburn, now all MEAC advanced Kierra Wheeler, Who declared the intention to enter the transfer portal last weekend.
Wheeler, who played a season in the NSONA State College in the NSO, according to the NCAA’s new Lall College Administration, said he would use the advantage of the new Young College of NCAA compatible in the NCAA New College Administration.

“The last few years have been amazing! I came a long way out of the house and found a second home here,” said Wheeler said. “We grow up too much in the last three years and would not trade this experience for the world. We will always go down as one of the largest hbcus; it was a legendary run.”
It’s hard to argue this point. Wheeler was a large part of the three consecutive championship teams, 15 points and three consecutive championship teams in each game and 9 rebounds. He was also blocked from 160 shots and 146 thefts collected 146 thefts while firing 50.1% from the field.
