If Hornets won against Holy Francis, the CBB will face AUBURN of total seeds No. 1 in Lexington on 1:50.
Tigers won the regular season championship at the Southeastern Conference and spent most of the year as the highest rated team by entering the field with 28-5 records.
“We must play first but we will be ready (Saturday), (Saturday),” said Guard CJ Hines. “It’s crazy. My phone exploded. But it is a quick turn (around).”
The Hornets saved the last six games, including the last six matches this season, including three of the Swac tournament. On March 6, they won the seven of the last eight matches of a way to the highest seeds and a way to a regular season shampoo.
“It was hot at the right time and started playing our best basketball in February. We entered March and the tournament and took a game at a time.
The last appearance of Alabama’s NCAA tournament came in 2011. Hornets lost to Texas-San Antonio and was in the NCAA game in NCAA.
This will be the fifth visit to the tournament, which is familiar with the first appearance of the program until 2001. In the same year, in the first round of the southern region of Hornets in Memphis, the National Champion defended the state of Michigan defending the province of Michigan. Asu, in 2004, made NCAA again, but was eliminated by Duke in the first round.
