ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city of Albuquerque’s Office of Black Community works to inspire people to become leaders and entrepreneurs. The new Office of Black Community Engagement Liaison is Neema Pickett.
Pickett earned the honor of National Business Advisor of the Year from the Association of Women’s Business Centers for her work in the state of New Mexico and nationally. Pickett says upcoming initiatives like the ’90 Days of Nonviolence’ is important for the youth. There will be plenty of upcoming initiatives and events put on by Pickett and the city office.
