In honor of Black History Month, we’re highlighting 150+ Black wedding professionals across the country. No wedding would be possible without the creative team behind each and every element of the celebration—your vendors, including everyone from your wedding planner and florist to your caterer and photographer, are responsible for bringing the day to life. Intentionally striving to work with Black-owned wedding businesses is an impactful way to support racial equity and equality on your big day.

LaJoy Cox is the founder of Atlanta-based LaJoy Photography. While her business began with a focus on wedding photography, it has now evolved to offer videography services, as well. Terri Baskin is a photographer, educator, and speaker based in Washington, D.C. John Branch IV Photography
