Historically Black Colleges and Universities Sports Conference (HBCUAC) presented a three-year offer to host Baseball and Softball Championships by 2028 to Tuscaloosa and Northport.
A newly built device in Northport in both tournaments will be played in the Run Park.

“The opportunity to bring 16 teams to our baseball and softball championships in Northport, the victory for our student-athletes, fans and all conferences for the next three years,” Barnes said. “Tea Run Park will provide the first stage for competition and visit the obligation to create an exceptional experience of Tuscaloosa will be remembered for years.”
Rush said that the incident will show the new sports complex and hospitality of the area.

President of the Northport City Council Christi Bobo said the championships would bring economic and cultural benefits.
“It offers economic benefits to host baseball and softball championships and increases the pride of society,” Bobo said. “They will demonstrate our city and this modern sports complex and ensure our young people and their hospitality industry, while we can see our tournaments as future students and athletes.”
Every championship will include the adoption of the guest reception during the visit to Tuscaloosa. Ticket data will be announced on the next date.
