Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘Little Black Book’ and its ties to New Mexico


Target 7 is continuing to uncover Jeffery Epstein’s ties to New Mexico and is looking into a contact book that was released years ago. Those contacts were put in what is referred to by journalists as Epstein’s “Little Black Book.” The book was leaked by Epstein’s housekeeper and has been published on Amazon and in other media outlets like Business Insider and The New York Times. In total, more than 1,500 names, around 5,000 phone numbers, and thousands of home addresses. Within all of that are ties to the Land of Enchantment. Most people know Jeffery Epstein once owned Zorro Ranch in Santa Fe County. “There was questionable conduct on that ranch,” former New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas said. Listed in Epstein’s book are Prince Andrew, Alec Baldwin, the office of Bill Clinton, and former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson. “Bill Richardson is being linked to Jeff Epstein and the scandals associated with him, it’s disappointing,” KOAT Political Expert Brian Sanderoff said. Target 7 has previously reported how Richardson’s name appeared in multiple court documents claiming he had been to the mansion multiple times. One woman claimed in a deposition that she was sent to New Mexico to give Richardson a massage. According to recently unsealed court records, the massages also included sex acts, and that woman’s attorney claimed Richardson had knowledge of Epstein’s sexual trafficking conduct. Richardson’s attorneys deny those allegations. Court documents claim most women were trafficked by Epstein by giving massages and inside Epstein’s book is a whole section titled “New Mexico Massage,” underneath are names of women. When asked they confirmed their name with us, but once we mentioned Epstein, they said not to call back and hung up. Other names in the book with ties to New Mexico include former Gov. Bruce King and attorney John Kelly. “Very well-respected lawyer in New Mexico. He had been a former U.S. attorney, I believe under Bill Clinton. He was a partner in one of the biggest law firms in the state, has an extremely good reputation,” Santa Fe Attorney John Day said. In 2000, Kelly ran for the 1st Congressional District seat in New Mexico and lost. During his campaign for Congress, Bill Clinton spoke at a fundraiser for Kelly and talked about how they were good friends and went to Georgetown together. We reached out to Kelly twice and tried to do an on-camera interview, he declined to do one. When asked why his name is in Epstein’s black book, he said, “I have no clue; you’ll have to ask Mr. Epstein.” He went on to say he met Epstein one time in 1993 when King asked him to go down to his ranch and meet with Epstein because he was interested in buying some land. Kelly is now the president of the city of Albuquerque’s ethics board. “Just because there is a name in a phone book, it doesn’t have any implication for anything other than it was business,” Day said.
